At the beginning of 2015, I took on the role of Clinical Lead for the Ophthalmology department at the James Paget University Hospital. This is in addition to my continuing clinical and surgical duties at both the James Paget and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals.

It is an exciting time to be able to lead developments in cataract surgery and wider ophthalmology services in Norfolk.

Mr Butler is a very genuinely kind, gentle man and a brilliant surgeon
